Package: kernel-package
Followup-For: Bug #849357
In addition to this bug I see more strange things with 4.10.
When I use one command line to create both targets, image and headers, only the
linux-image package is built.
Like:

Package: asterisk-opus
Version: 13.7+20161113-3
Severity: normal
I had expected to find some documentation in /usr/share/doc/asterisk-opus
explaining me what I should add to sip.conf to allow usage of the opus codec.

With "any more", do you mean that this is a regression, i.e. did it work in an
earlier version? If yes, which version?

After reinstalling again, the duplicity is gone, most probably a local
issue.
The issue with "package req xotcl::serializer" persists, though.
Kind regards,

Hi Tobias,
Thanks for reporting the bug, I should keep one of my test VM in French, I
would have caught this language issue for sure.
I will post a fix to unstable as soon as possible, then I will try to get
an unblock to propagate this fix to strech (which is currently frozen).
Best,
Julien

If so, the bug might be that aptitude considers any version essential
even if only a non-candidate version is marked as essential.
Note that apt behaves the same way, see #216768. See also the changelog
