today. As far as I can see on popcon[2] for the library package the
usage vote is close to zero.
Thus I would suggest to remove this package from unstable.

That is not what happens. If an option is unset, it is set to a default
value the next time the package mainterscripts (postinst) are run (i.e.
on t

as per the ITS bug the package was imported to salvage team repository[1]
and is uploaded now to DELAYED=10.

I'm attaching a few patches to simplify the packaging and bring dkms
integration in line with all the other *-dkms packages in the archive.
There is no attempt to fix the gcc-14 issue.
