This is pretty difficult to help with without having more details. The
verbose log output of beets for the relevant command, and the full
configuration file would be a good start.

Funny that you mention X11 and wayland: Both are still dependencies
of FFmpeg after your patch, no?
Please show the dependencies of (at least) libavutil and libavcodec
with your approach and maybe compare them to what sdl needs: While the
list may become smaller I wonder if it this would really solve the

In fact it seems that xdg-open _does_ search for firefox but has other
issues when trying to open a URL as root. In its man page it explicitly
advises against running as root, so I think it's really up to
apt-listbugs to honour that advice here.

While the debian copyright file includes attribution (also historical) to
upstream authors, there is no evidence for this in the actual source code
upstream apart from a mention of the latest of the three entries in the doc
building config.

Here's another update on the dependency situation for FlexGet.
Things are looking good because upstream FlexGet has been updating the
dependency versions for several tricky packages so that shortly even
guessit should point to the latest major version.
On the Debian side the only thing

I am happy to try things if you have any suggestions for a workaround, at this
point I have to imagine the possibilities are a (very very weird) hardware
problem, or a hardware incompatibility.

* Recommend python3-gevent to support the new gevent server (however this
feature is currently disabled due to crashes that are not yet
understood).
* Build-Depend on python3-gevent for the corresponding test (however thi

the situation later I can proceed with the patching and removing as
