Sorry for the delay and for not documenting progress, but while
creating the debian package, I realized that there are some circular
dependencies
I forgot to mention that I built it and tested it using glade, the
widget is loaded from glade, it appears in the list, and can be added to
a window.
I didn't test if it actually works in a real application, though.

managed to build gtkdatabox with libgladeui-2-0 doing a few changes to
the build system.
My only concern is that the libgtkdatabox-0.9.2-0-glade will depend on
