"adaptions" strikes me as slightly odd english -- I think
"customisations" or "adjustments" would be a better choice.
On the other hand the preceding sections are about how we accommodate
people's preferences via debconf settings, so this is actually quite a
departure from that, because it's something that people want to change
that has to be done outside debconf, so the section heading should
probably refer to that difference somehow.
How about "Variations requiring manual intervention"?

Running lintian from bullseye on udebs (which do not need to have a

Dear Maintainer,
If one runs gbp dch when the environment variables EMAIL & DEBEMAIL are both
upset, then
'gbp dch' appears to hang indefinitely.
The reason for this would seem to be this change introduced in devscripts:

Dear Maintainer,
Having tested this with both the alpha2 and alpha3 netinst ISOs, I find that the
bug does not exist in alpha2 and does exist in alpha3, which is the same as
#987377.
Also, the lock-up points are visually similar, and in both ca

Hi,
I would like to fix a segfault at startup that has hung around and
seems to been missed for a stable update. Showed up in a pre scan for
this weekends bsp-2021-04-at-salzburg.

environment" shell, so it seems this bug affects both shells.
BTW this is AFAIK specific to the graphical rescue mode -- IIRC text
mode worked fine when I tried it.
All these tests have been done with BIOS mode boot.
Cheers, Phil.
