libvirt is using dmidecode in ./src/util/sysinfo.c
It causes some segfaults in some cases if not installed.
Please see my attached patch to fix the missing dependency.

but I found the 'virSysinfoRead' in the library
which is the one using dmidecode. I guess the daemon is calling it
when needed.
I'll be pleased to correct my patch if needed.

i should have posted this before, I'm using xterm version 261-1.
I am also using version 0.6.2+dfsg1-2, but this bug doesn't occur. Also,

Either way, this bug hasn't occurred for me at all.
There is still a UFO in the game, the flying saucer that hogs fly around in.
True, the one it was referring to was probably the one replaced by the
homing bee, but since one still exists, there is no real reason to change it
IMO.
The reason they changed it to a homing bee probably had something

This bug is still present in 0.3.3-6, although it should really be added
to the wishlist area, not in bugs. The fact is, this is something that would
take some effort to put in, not just a simple patch-in. Of course, it is a
reasonable request, and would be quite useful.
Ignore these two posts. I typed the number wrong XD
i used version 1.510-2.2+b1 (same version? not sure if you left off the b1
or if this is an update) and saved the config files after deleting the
.zsnes, but it simply recreated it. It might be that you have remnants left
over from older versions causing you problems, but I can't reproduce this

Cherokee 1.0.13 has been released, representing the fifth release since this
version (1.0.8). It contains significant performance improvements and bug
fixes, and is worth packaging at least for the experimental branch.
I tested with the same version, and it works just fine.it's probably a
bug with something else in your computer.
I used xterm, but if I resized it to squash the bar sideways or vertically,
and then stretched it back out, it simply brought it back to normal.

As noted above I did post a bug report on the failure of update-grub to
configure the grub menu properly.
I recently tried removing and reinstalling grub2 once again. (I had done
this several times earlier with no success.)
