Thank you for the comment! I see that xdvi does support some pstricks. E.g. the pstricks commands like \psframe,\pscircle,\ncline, \rput, and a lot of others are rendered correctly. I'm greatly used to xdvi and like it a lot (compared to gv). I will be happy to see more commands supported.
