The description in the README.Debian isn't yet satisfactory.
Some time I'd like to figure out how to get 'ntop' working
then try to rewrite it.
In the meantime, the new text has several typos, for example:

Today I tryed to reproduce this problem.
I run:
ntop -u ntop
Works just fine. And after entering the password for the admin account
it can serve pages from http. When the admin user was set it works just
fine to start it using /etc/init.d/ntop.
