Hi Laurence, none of those 3 files sits in the unofficial e17 packages - neither those from edevelop.org nor from elive project. I do not know about any other e17 debian builds, guessing that these two are mainly used. There is just a messing (but not conflict) in the /usr/share/enlightenm
