provided by texlive-latex-extra), couldn't texlive-latex-extra also be

Doing a cdebootstrap -f standard jessie testdir we have some unneeded
packages installed:
libssl1.0.0
libsigc++-2.0-0c2a
libboost-iostreams1.55.0
They should be downgraded to standard or optional, since no other
important packages depend on
Likewise when installing the standard packages (using tasksel install
standard), we have two packages that have no other packages depending
on them:
libswitch-perl
libclass-isa-perl
They should be downgraded to optional probably.

Couldn't python-gdal and python3-gdal also suggest (or recommend) gdal-bin?
The reason for this is that gdal2tiles (included in python-gdal) uses
