The reason for the compile problem seems to be that xorg 7.1 is in unstable
now, but linuxwacom does not support xorg 7.1 (yet). Therefore build is
broken in unstable, still working in testing. This will break compile on

guessnet --help does not work. The problem is in libwibble, and has
been fixed in darcs. An upload of the fixed wibble in sid is pending,
following which an upload of guessnet build-depending on the new wibble
will solve the issue.

There is a new version of libavcodec0d available in unstable. Since the
evidence points to this being a libavcodec problem, could you try installing
this new version to see whether it fixes the bug? If so, I'll go ahead and

I have tested the patches provided by Michael Ablassmeier and Christian
Aichinger, and I have confirmed that applying both these patches together
fixes the problem.
