However when I launch pbuilder, the variable $HOME is not set to
/sbuild-nonexistent but it is set to /root (which exists).
So I have two and a half questions:
- which is the tool used to check the packages? I currently use
pbuilder, but
, using a clean, minimal and up-to-date chroot. Every
failed build was retried once to eliminate random failures.

The fix for can't find unit interfaces has been made before the bug
report (however the new version was released after the bugreport).
The reason why it has been fixed early is because it is much like the bug
#666384 found in the package optgeo of the same author.
I tagged this bug as fixed.
