One of the programs in baycomepp is dlopen()ing baycomfpga_init.so, so
no versioned soname is required. The symbols sig_usr2 etc are provided
by the hosting application.
I don't know why the application has been structued this way - possibly

I kinda think it's in poppler's domain to fix this; logically
xpdf-japanese (etc) exists only to enhance xpdf. poppler-data appears to

I don't know in what way this is wrong but I've disabled the condition
for now.
I have "deliver real-hamish" at the end of my .forward which is
triggering this. I guess nobody else does this as nobody has reported
pend on bzip2 any more than I
expect any package providing a PDF file to depend on a viewer.
However, tools that use those files definitely have a dependency ie

mmendation?
I have libgeda providing virtual package libgeda-27, but unfortunately dpkg
has a bug where it doesn't prevent libgeda20 being upgraded if it no longer
provides virtual packages required by other installed packages. Else I
could just use libgeda-NN in the shlibs file.
Thanks,
to use libgd and not the special libgdgeda
any more. I will fix the build-deps and upload.

Package: dvbtune
Version: 0.5-8
Severity: serious
Justification: Can't install due to postinst failure
Upgrade to 0.5-8 from 0.5-6 is failing in the postinst.
I have no /dvb directory so I'm not sure what it is trying to do.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get dselect-upgrade
Reading package lists
p?arch=&pkg=wsjt it
happens on sparc, powerpc, hppa, m68k, mips and mipsel also.
ie only i386, arm, ia64 and amd64 build ok. The fix is simple and I will
upload very soon.
thanks

Hi,
It's because you have mismatched versions of geda-symbols (20060906) and
geda-gschem (20060123). It's already reported as #388695.
Please upgrade. etch (testing) has working versions of everything now.
