What could pause Exim server to slow down considerably when sending
mail?
I just fixed problem with hosts file, and it worked well but few hours
later it has
started to slow despite no big traffic.

I happen to have exim mailer for personal use, and I'm wondering
couple things. First, relaying mails through it seems somewhat slow.
I don't get bundles of mail all a time and I've used sendmail where
sending seemed to be faster. Any reasons why it might be slower or how

I know I'm not the first one to try this out, but I can't find anything
on the exim site, so I turn to you guys. :)

Dariush,
I ran the command and 'un-froze' the messages. I can't wait to see what happens
to them now.

I found no directory under /var/cache/exim.
I do have exim with potato running, so I looked at it and it does mention

I found no directory under /var/cache/exim.
I do have exim with potato running, so I looked at it and it does mention 'auto-thaw'

I've been through my exim doc and found 'auto-thaw'

option.
