The solution is to run configure with the option
--with-qt-dir=/usr/share/qt3. This is fixed in KDevelop 2.1.5-2, so
if you create a new project with it, the new project will check
/usr/share/qt3 by default.
Thanks.

Hi!
I wonder if its possible to use another (fixed) keyboard layout (german)
without having that 'flag icon' in the taskbar?
Yes.
Just configure xkb on X server level.
I believe it is much better than kxkb anyway.
Hi all,
I noticed that for example
artsplay /usr/share/sounds/Kopete_Event.ogg
does not play the sound nor show any error message...
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Hi all,
i have a strange Problem here:
The normal System-Bell does not work anymore.
In Konsole for example if I press backspace while I am at the
beginning of the command line it normally beeps because I am already
at thet beginning.
The bellsysmbol below the window shows this too. But I do
Out of curiosity I tried compiling my own QT without Xinerama and OpenGL to
test out the prelink program in sid. It does indeed increase the performance
of KDE 3 programs:
# time konqueror -invalid
konqueror: Unknown option '-invalid'.
real0m0.052s
user0m0.030s
sys 0m0.030s

Weird, here it's not greyed out, and can be selected.

Hi list,
I'm doing an application thar reads some information from a xml file. I think,
that kde uses libxml2 (gnome) when needs to use xml. That's true?
I ask it, because I use qt, and I have realised that qt has a lot of code of
xml, and I don't understand why kde uses libxml2.
Thank's in
Hi,
I know it's a bit OT, but I didn't want to subscribe to kde-list only
for this single question:
Is there a possibility to let applications start on a different
workspace that that I currently look at? I'm used to this from
windowmaker where I could explicitly set the workspace an application

I really need kpilot and korganizer. But these packages seem to be ignored in
sid. Does anybody know why? Is it safe to download the source from kde.org
and compile it myself (this would be the last resort because I'm not very
familiar with compiling large programs).
Thanks,

Hello!
I'm using Ralf Nolden's debian packages on sarge, and am very happy with it,
because they just work like a charm! Thanks for packaging kde, and investing
so much time into it!
