it, but probably the biggest thing is my main machines use software raid,
i've read about some problems in 2.2.x raid and am not confident upgrading
to 2.2.x will make everything run as stable as it does now. i am about

I tried to compile simple c program mypgm.c.( hellow world like)
gcc mypgm.c

swap isn't that important so its easy to turn off..
it may be bad ram..there are a few memory testers out there for linux..try

ftp get of debian/dists/potato/ on http.us.debian.org. Once I get this
silly thing downloaded to my shell, I can ftp it to my office and take
it home on a zip disk. Once I get the "potato" directory restored on
my Linux
