Acton, and may certainly be re-badged), one in my Debian box and one in

Something wierd is happening, last night one minute Realplayer 7 was
working nicely, the next it only segfaults when I try to start it up, I
uninstalled, and reinstalled and the problem persists. So I thought I'd do
an apt-get update; apt-get upgrade over night and look at it in the mo

boot directly into a '$' prompt but requiring a password for root. I'm

I'm having a problem with NFS. My basic NFS is working; so I can mount
the shares remotely. The problem is that I cannot "see" submounted
partitions from across the network.
For example, on the server I have /home/ftp/pub as one partition. Then I
have /home/ftp/pub/linux/debian as another

Last night I did an apt-move with all pointers aimed at "frozen". But
then I realized that when the release is out it will be called stable,
not frozen any more. So I changed every pointer name to potato.

Just make sure your windows95 box has its DNS enabled, (you can put the
same servers there as you have for your linux box) and make sure your
gateway isn't blocking hmm port 53 I think. Ipmasq doesn't need anything
special.

masquerading. everything works fine except my internal windows 95 machine
cannot access the DNS. setup is pretty simple on the windows machine so
