at the moment.
I agree. I've been looking at the IPMasq HowTo, and I think I'm on a
better track now. I'll send an update to the list if I get things working.
At the least, I haven't seen much on the net about this setup, and it would
be good to have available.

handed to exim, and I'd like to make this more difficult.
Am I on the right track? Any enlightenment is appreciated. Thanks. :)

Now I need to figure out how to get fetchmail to deliver to my smtp server
with TLS. That one is proving much more difficult.

tried running fetchmail as my local user, and it delivered to exim fine.
Then I set in /etc/defaults/fetchmail, RUNASROOT=true, and it delivers fine.
Anyone have any ideas?

I'd strongly recommend running VNC instead. 'apt-get install vncserver'
and download the windows client at http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/
Completely free and works great.

Procmail. I use it both at home, and work. Good stuff.

Shouldn't the kernel-headers package create this link, ya think?

running kernel-image 2.2.15 on a Woody system. I've seen some
posts here from people who've gotten it working. (I've even
downloaded the patch that someone put together so I can nice and
neatly make .debs for it.)
Does anyone know if I'm missing something?

the MTA for you in the post install process!
I /was/ installing the qmail-src package, actually. I ended up using
the force command, but thanks for atleast telling me there wasn't a
better way to do it.
Situations where 'force' type commands are necessary are kind've
annoying.

if this is a problem, and where I should look to fix it?
Thanks.
Oh, I'm running potato, and a 2.2.12 kernel. pppd version 2.3.9.
This machine is acting as a gateway for my network, and doing
ipmasquerading.

Problem: when I try to install it, it says it conflicts with exim.
When I try to remove exim, it says it's required by other packages.
How do I switch from exim to qmail? Do I have to use a yucky force
option, or is there a cleaner way to go about it?

Anyone planning on updating the stable package, or should I go about
trying to make one myself?
Thanks.

Apologies for replying to my own post. I should've poked around a bit
more, first. I've contacted the author, and further queries
substantial yet.
Basically a few modifications have to be made to the gnus/mailcrypt
handle things, before the MIME stuff can be added in. I'm looking
forward to it as well, since it appears to be a less obtrusive way to
sign messages.
