Hi
I'm hoping someone can help me with my frustrating problem...
I have a laptop, and something installed under windows 98 has now
(twice) overwritten the initial part of my Linux filesystem
which exists in an extended partition.
How can I prevent this (other than by deinstalling windows! - my wife
reventing me from connecting from home. This was after I had
apt-get updated to testing on Saturday June 30th. I certainly get the tcsetattr
error above, but not the "Couldn't attach tty to PPP unit 0", though
I don't have my log file handy as it is at home.
Any thoughts ?

ad the installation manual and documentation and it will tell you how,
but it comes down to having a copy of the contents of the disks-i386
directory on the debian archive on your windows/dos partition.

Hi
I have a problem I have never encountered before with 10 Debian boxes.
The problem is every now and again, particularly during large transfers
of files by either ftp or samba, the network card on the computer just stops!
The network card is an ne2000 compatible one (or at least that is the net
.deb for this ?

This means I can't run my nice application for analysing data that we

How can I resolve this ?
