From what my googling turned up so far I would need XFree 4.3?
In unstable I "only" found XFree 4.1. On apt-get.org I found XFree 4.3 for

is played to loud (which it isn't). I believe it is a driver/settings issue

I've got a couple of .bin files, which I believe are svcds, aren't they? I
can play them with kplayer, but it is horrible as the sound is skipping. Xine
on the other hand won't play them and reports that it couldn't find a demux?!
Any chance to play these files without skipping? Would

I installed woody and after booting the machine x hangs the whole
machine (at least numlock doesn't work anymore). Is there anyway to
interrupt the startup procedure to prevent x from starting?
I am also wondering what the reason for that is? Issuing startx by
hand does work.

when using the internal mouse on the am machine it sometimes works,
but most of the time it just moves a bit and when I am at the end of the
touchpad lift my finger and lower it at the begin of the touchpad the
cursor returns to the lower left corner?!
Any idea about that?

I am not sure how to describe this problem properly. Basically my machine hangs
every now and then. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes, sometimes five and it is also
sometimes running for 60 minutes until it hangs.
Hangs means, I cannot do anything anymore. At least CTRL+ALT+DEL/BS and CTRL+AL
