Hey.
I too had problems with the mouse cursor after upgrading to Jessie. It
turned out I had to uninstall/reinstall the drivers for the discrete gpu.
It seems you have an integrated gpu, but maybe it's worth trying
un/installing the drivers.

I have no idea what Jessie might have done to make it disappear (it was
working just fine after upgrade and before dist-upgrade).
Nope. I did try that but nothing changed.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

These unofficial packages are intended for Debian unstable, but should also
work on testing (lenny).
Note that you must have Skype installed and running in order to use
skysentials to send SMS. Get the Debian package for Skype from their

ning java in command-line, but I think the
problem is that you didn't call the classpath. Firstly, is CLASSPATH
environment variable set (Try echo $CLASSPATH)? Secondly, I think you should
run java with the "-classpath" switch. Not sure, but the command might look
like this:
java -classpath #CLASSPATH,
Try it out let us know.

behind a router or something similar. If you
want to use a shell script to return the IP to the stdout, you could
probably use 'curl'.
1- If you don't have curl, you would have to install it:
[sudo] apt-get install curl
2- Get one of these sites that return your external IP (You know no site
like this? just google "what is my IP", without quotes) and create a shell
command. See my example:
$ curl http://www.ip-adress.com/ | grep "My IP: "
Test it and then you put it in a shell script and you're done. :)

I read that it is supposed to detect it as a sda drive but that is not
happening. I have no idea where else to look.

your system in English but want to be capable of
using accents you can just change the LC_CTYPE to LC_CTYPE=pt_PT,
you dont need to change the LANG and the LC_ALL. Mine is
LC_CTYPE=pt_BR and works fine.
