I want to rename a set of mailing lists (mailman 2.1.15 and exim4) and,
as a kind of backward compatibility, keep the old names as aliases for
the new names.
Precisely the alias part is the one I have doubts about.

I've got a little problem with the IEEE1394 support on my computer, a
Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop...
when I plug my shiny iPod (which works really good under f*cking
windows) to the computer, the laptop suddenly hangs.
I recompiled my kernel yesterday (I had 2.4.18-bf2.4, and moved to

yes, they are .deb packages you downloaded (and installed) with apt.
If they were properly installed on your system, you can delete them
safely...

But, if you want to access the floppy as a user (not root!) with
mtools, you must be in the group "floppy". Edit the file /etc/group to
put yourself in. I have something like:
floppy:x:25:ecl
(My username is "ecl")
