Someone about 2 months ago had posted that they had a page built into
Imail Web Messaging that had 3 or 4 "custom" settings, like "no filter",
"medium" "High" and "whitelist only". IIRC, they said that they only
needed to clean up their code, and they may post it for all to share.

Our Imail box has IIS running on it for a few very light-weight static web
sites so we have the option to run a web interface on the same box. All we
need is the interface that allows them to update their config files.

I second that opinion. On our production servers we outsource to Postini
and that setup works great. I only host about 50 domains on my Imail server
and prefer not to run them through Postini for a variety of reasons. The
idea of having a user control panel would make my life easier. I'm to the
So all the settings about yes/no spamfiltering for certain mailhosts are
stored in a database and we can create a whitelist file containing all

Until now I haven't checked how to do this with declude, because I was

Lately the amount of spam we've been receiving has at least tripled and we'd
like to update to JunkMail Pro in order to allow the end users to control
their anti-spam settings.
A while back there was a bunch of talk about user interfaces for JunkMail

Hmmm...so you're suggesting creating N/200 files with different sets of <200

No. The WHITELIST command only works in the global.cfg file, and do n

It really should be done in the smtp dialogue. There should be a
setting for maximum consecutive rcpt-to errors in a single session.
Then you could set it and let the server count up to that number a

Perhaps this will be a duplicate question, but I'll address it to Scott...
why can't JunkMail identify and stop dictionary attacks? It would seem like

Anyone know of a way to use an external file to perform a WHITELIST

Probably the best answer here would be to use per-domain settings (possibly
with REDIRECT to make administration easier).
It would also be possible with the latest interim release, using lines

I have written on this previously. Black Ice does not stop
dictionary attacks per se. It does test errors returned from Imail
