Your best bet is to add a mail gateway like IMGate, Alligate, MS SMTP/ORF, etc. to take the load off of IMail for dropping connections for bad email addresses and possibly some scanning at the gateway. You might also check your Declude logs to make sure you don't have any DNS tests that are timing
