Hi again,
I didn't intend for the banners to be removed, just /reviewed/.

Hi Bernhard, hi all!
First, thanks to all who currently participate - although I support
Nik's proposal on more iterations, isn't it already cool that so much
discussion takes place and we come closer to our current goal?
Thus, I'd like to shed some more light on earlier decisions ...

Hi Ron, all,
sorry for not being able to reply earlier, but my spare time is too
short to read several hundred mails and reply only to the most important

I hope for some better time, when the structures here in the community
have been defined and settled a bit.

When it comes to the logo, I (and I think others) have been taking
my cues from the "Guidelines and Best Practices" spacing guideline,
which then dictates the size we have been using on the 728x90 banner
proposals.

I'll definitely post all your work on the libreoffice.org site, as I
mentioned before, but would just like to see a green light from

I have created two pages under Marketing/Branding on the Wiki as follows:
- http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Marketing/Branding/Avatar_Proposals
Pretty self explanatory.

That's cool :-) Please feel free to post them on the wiki and post us
links, or to mail them to me.

Howdy David,
I have produced some of the same with different color schemes and
have source files (.PSD) for them as well.
Perhaps there should be a:
Marketing/Branding/Banners/Proposals
I will work up some 64x64 and 48x48 avatar icons.

Hi Ron, :-)
Thanks for this. We also need stuff like square avatar icons (64x64
and 48x48 for instance). And we could use similar banners designed
with other color schemes in mind, or carrying other
LibreOffice-related messages.
If you feel like throwing a few of those at us, please feel free.

Your banner will most probably work very well on white (or light)
