Still no joy! Each day I load all of the Dapper update, thus my machine
is up to date, yet I still cannot print via my Windows box as I could
with linux2go. I checked my installed version and it is 3.0.22-1ubuntu3,

Ok, here's another backtrace with rhythmbox-dbg installed. Doesn't seem
to make much difference, except this time it didn't print out a whole
bunch of (no debugging symbols found)
On closer inspection, this actually looks like it may be a bug in
gstreamer.

This is a firefox (which epiphany and galeon are based upon) issue.
In addition this is something the website has done on purpose. They have
set the actual photo as the html document background and then as part of
the actual document there is this 1x1 transparent image.

faking a closed lid, HAL went into hibernate but came out immediately. I

It is necessary to install libglitz-dev to compile any programs based on
gtk+.
As the typical error message
configure:6039:21: error: gtk/gtk.h: No such file or directory
does not contain any hints about that I would highly suggest to reopen
this bug and make libgtk2.0-dev depend on

can you retest with gnome-btdownload 0.0.22-1ubuntu6 (or whatever the latest
version in dapper is)?
I can't reproduce this, and I think it may have been fixed by the following
upload:

GST_DEBUG=3 GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 gst-launch-0.10 playbin
uri=file:///path/to/broken/file gst.log
and attach the gst.log to this bugreport?
Otherwise GST_DEBUG=3 GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 totem would be fine too

surrely related to this bug, i can't hotsync with an IBM WorkPad c505
(rebranded Palm m505c, Palm OS 4.0), connected with USB cradle on up-to-date
Dapper. When I press HotSync button on cradle, dmesg reports :

Call im test.txt (without quotes);
Write whatever you like on it;
Right click on desktop;
Choose Make

Yes, but this was actually a desired effect. I don't say that it is
ideal for all users (since they might have become accustomed to the
empty CD icon), but it's not a unintended bug.
