That code is basically what evolution is doing. To build with "gcc
nssinit.c -o nssinit `pkg-config --cflags --libs mozilla-nss`", works
fine with libnss3 1.5 and not with 1.9

Thanks for your bug. The box crashing is not a totem issue, whatever an
user application does the box should not restart, that's likely to be a
linux or xorg videodriver issue. The description looks similar to bug
#53133 by example. Could you try with "vesa" as video driver if you get

I've just spent the day using mutt on gnome-terminal for the first time since I
reported this, and it appears fine now - I guess it got fixed somewhere in the
last year or so.
It also seems to stand up to a cat /bin/ls in a terminal window with out any
droppings being left behind.

works.
1) Enter Firefox, and find a mailto: link, and click it.
2) The Evolution send new mail window pops up.
3) THEN open the normal view of Evolution from the menu or panel, and it works.
4) When you quit, it still crashes.

Upstream marked the bug as duplicate of
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=170807 where they stated they
are not interested to do that because recording a CD over network is
usually not a good idea. Closing the distribution task too, feel free to

I still get a segmentation fault and on Dapper. Crashes with Both Python
or Ruby by the way. and setting my LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/firefox
does not seem
