This is from the 2.17.5 change log:
"Make double-click on the video canvas toggle fullscreen, and middle-
click play/pause"
However, totem doesn't toggle fullscreen if I double-click the video,
neither does it toggle play/pause when I middle-click
It seems to be working very good now, IMHO. Backport?

Well, the standard build does not have bold/italic rulers. Only when
(and always when) AbiWord is built as a part of your Ubuntu package
(including if it is upgraded with a new upstream version per the Debian
New Maintainers' Guide) does the bold/italic numbers come up. This is a

Thanks for your response! I trust the "non-free" codecs packages have
been installed? In case you didn't know, due to copyright and patent
reasons, Ubuntu can't ship with any non-open multimedia codecs (software
you need to play media files). As such, you need extra packaged to be
able to playback
one more :)

Sorry, I should have been more explicit - the incorrect track length can
be (for example) 16 minutes when the track is about 5-6 minutes or
similar. It's not always that extreme either. It's never ridiculously
large or small, so I don't think it's a negative number being treated as

The applications logo icon should still be installed into the system hicolor
theme. From dobey's blog:

When the /etc/init.d/bootclean init script is enabled, it starts after
the gdm init script (due to the gdm init script starting early to get a
login screen quicker). However, when the gdm daemon starts, it creates
/tmp/.gdm_socket, which the bootclean
ah actually i've just tagged the songs which had a problem with an external
software (easytagg) in order not to have this problem anymore. So i can't
have again the error message.. and i don't remember what it was .. sorry i
checked my email too late..
But next time i have this problem, i'll write

We packaged serpentine before Debian, the packaging is different and the
Debian version is a new one. There is no reason to keep a different
packaging, the new version builds fine on feisty
