I got few comments from my customers about this bug. People really don't
understand what's happening when their computer switch to the Desktop #3
because they just used the mousewhell directly on the Desktop. From what
I've experienced, this behavior is pretty un-convenient for
unexperienced people

A possible workaround could be an fstab entry with the UUID of the
Freeagent partition. You can get the UUID with 'sudo vol_id /dev/sdX1' .
/etc/fstab entry:
UUID=LONG_NUMBER /media/MOUNTPOINT FILESYSTEM user,defaults 0 0
The user-Option is needed to be able to mount the Freeagent hard disk w

Sometimes, when I want to change from Desk 1 to any other, clicking on
the desk-changer brings me to the chosen one, but all of a sudden, the
taskbars disappear and won't come back. Rebooting the system seems to be
the only solution.

If you use Bottom panel only and using Deskbar, the Deskbar search
does not stay locked to bottom panel.

As with others here, on Feisty Evince was reasonable, but on Gutsy
