CTRL+ALT+F1 does work with the DVI port that doesn't normally display

I think I have found exactly how to repeat the bug.
Since I have removed pulse audio and installed gstreamer0.10-alsa

I experience the same bug on karmic with both ekiga-3.2.5 and 3.2.6 (the last
one I built myself from source). Some time ago I reported a bug 507118 (since
did not see this one). So I might have to mark mine duplicate. It does seem to
be a sound problem. I do not use pulseaudio -

I can confirm this bug. And it is serious. After 40 minutes or so of
playing, whole user session is killed so all unsaved data is lost!
I looked at process list, virtual memory usage, and found that problem
is _dragging_ card. Take one card, drag it around with mouse and look X
server virtual memo
