Sorry for taking so long to reply. I think I asked the question under
"bug" incorrectly. There is no bug log to be found, I just get error
messages. I think something is wrong with the disk drive. It will
recognize a rewritable disk, just not a plain cd-r disk. What do you

After some test I did find the source of the problem. It's just happen
when the path to the file contain the character "[" (but curiously it
works with "]", and of course all my cbz on my second disk were in
folders with a "["…).

Wow, I finally found the right thread to drop my '+1' :)
Currently running FF 3.6.8 on Ubuntu Lucid. I have the same problem, be
it on my laptop or my desktop pc (both running lucid and all current
updates).

Thanks. What version of gnome-applets are you using. I'm booted into
the Maverick alpha 3 Live CD at the moment, but will try to remember to
report my gnome-applets version the next time I boot Lucid.

don't forget that Lucid desktop is supported until April 2013. Invalid

Gnome-terminal application uses QWERTY control characters even if I
switch layout to Dvorak. I.e. even in Dvorak layout, I've to press
CTRL-U on QWERTY to kill till the beginning of line. Other applications
like Firefox don't exhibit this p
