/etc/default/locale contains system wide settings that basically affect
the startup and the login screen. Once logged in, your personal language
settings override the system wide ditto.

I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 64bit and eog 2.32.1 with libchamplain 0.8 as
shipped with natty. When I open the map pane, all my geotagged photo
appears shifted in respect of the actual position. Before upgrading to
11.04 there were no problems.
