When plugging in my card reader or mp3player I get an authentication
dialog, asking me to provide my password (for a gvfs daemon in the
details tab [I'm not at home so I can't say exactly]) and mount read-
only afterwards. This is latest 64bit
Yes it's reproducible, after startup you have to authenticate the first time
you plug-in the device, afterwards it mounts automatically, but read-only again.
To reproduce install jaunty and upgrade to karmic, but it worked after the
update so it must have been some of the following ones.

I just noticed this only happens when doubleclicking the first station,
single clicking gives the expected result. So it would be best to unify

I deleted the .thumbnails folder to get a fresh start, now it doesn't
create any thumbnails and the gdb command yields:

after restarting nautilus it starts creating the thumbnails just fine, I

I don't think this is a duplicate because only one or two thumbnails are
missing. And after restarting nautilus and opening the folder again the
missing thumnail is created.

Sometimes when I copy images (in my case jpegs mainly) to other folders
sometimes one or two images don't get thumbnailed and nautilus starts
eating 100% CPU. This is 2.15.91 on latest edgy, spatial and icon view
on amd64.

When copying images nautilus instantly starts thumbnailing slowing down
the copying immensly. When closing the folder the files are copied to
the time to finish the process decreases immensly again.

In my home directory two folders are missing the first time (Desktop and
Bilder) the second time I open it they are back.

I'm using edgy on amd64. Nautilus 2.15.4 (spatial). When opening my home
folder from the desktop (using nautilus all the time) the first time it
doesn't show everything, when closing and opening it again it shows
everything. Can't notice a pattern.
