I'd like to add that -0ubuntu4 does not exist at the moment, but is
actually -0ubuntu3 with the applied debdiff from Bug #381187. The only
thing different is the notify-osd patch. I can confirm that this
behaviour happens even with -0ubuntu3.

The best way would be for Nautilus to have some manner of allowing
plugins to hook onto events such as deletion/renaming of files and folders.

Ah thanks, that would work. The .nautilus-share-info idea does seem
rather appealing as well. I'll give both of them some consideration.

battery while it is discharging. To summarize:

I'd like to add that -0ubuntu4 does not exist at the moment, but is
actually -0ubuntu3 with the applied debdiff from Bug #381187. The only
thing different is the notify-osd patch. I can confirm that this
behaviour happens even with -0ubuntu3.

gnome-power-manager does not detect battery dischar

should be the ones responding to the media keys instead of Evince. And
it doesn't any more, since that other bug is fixed (and by the way, it
was a gnome-settings-daemon bug exposed by Evince's behaviour).
