I switched from Yahoo! to GMail as soon as I found out they don't append
ads to your messages.
My phone drives me nuts by auto-filling the message body with Sent from

I'm afraid this is rather standard behaviour for most applications
in GNOME sporting a volume control, Totem included. Frankly speaking, I
prefer it this way, and besides, I can always change the volume by
scrolling on the volume icon. It's a much easier approach than dragging
a slider around.
Hmm ... what if we made it so that only clicking-and-dragging worked,
but that a tooltip came up saying to click and drag to set volume?

I often listen to one single song over and over again, and Rhythmbox
won't let me do this automatically. Instead, I have to create a separate
playlist for that one song.
I tried just adding the song to my Play Queue and hoping it would repeat
that, but once it finished playing that song it went

Yes, and yes! Sometimes the sent / received messages sound for Pidgin is
just a crackling noise, come to think of it. And I do use the
crossfading option ... I originally switched to it to get rid of this
problem, but it sometimes still surfaces.

This bug affects me as well, and it gets worse -- if you switch to a
white-on-black GTK color theme, pages like GMail (as well as numerous
others) become invisible. Or at least, the text on them does. I use
Ctrl-A to Select All and view the highlighted text, but this is
inconvenient.

I was going to report that Rhythmbox wasn't working at all, because
songs would start and then not play. There'd be like a second or two of
audio, then crackling-ness or silence.
I saw this bug and turned on the crossfading backend, and now it works!
