Do you mean into backports?
If so, this is not the solution, we are leaving all Intrepid users with the
buggy version. I would prefer an update to the main repos.

Good,
so when will we see this in intrepid repos?
SRU?
To me the bug is critical, every time I have to do some mp3 compilations, I
need to switch to k3b.

Guys,
I finally sorted out this one.
This was a problem of password. My Exchange account is password
protected (ovbiously), and I didn't let Evolution remember my password.
Now I've chosen to remember the pwd, and suddenly alarms are working!
Solved for me.

Hello Sebastien,
I don't actually know what is causing this.
Now I've tried to open the share and I get the error. Even after reopening
the share and exploring it inside the nautilus window, I continue to get the
error (if I click on the bookmark, the connection is always successfull).

I think I have the same problem,
constantly 40% to 50% nautilus usage, doing nothing.
It seem related to a network share I have mounted. I found its name into
a strace output.
When I realized this, I've tried to access it from nautilus. After this
access, CPU utilization went suddenly down.
I don't think that this update has reached Intrepid repos.
I still have a previous release:
$ apt-cache policy brasero

Another update,
perhaps I found the issue.
Alarms ARE working if I set the appontment to my personal calendar (i.e.
the local calendar).
In my organization we use MS Exchange. If I set the appointment with the
Exchange calendar, no alarm is fired.
Perhaps you guys have the same problem?
Bad news guys.
I've setup other meetings with Evolution and still no alarm is fired.
Actually I've received only one alarm, the one I described above.
All the other meetings scheduled does not work, albeit I see the small
bell in the calendar.

Update guys,
now the alarms are working!

Hi,
same problem here.
Here are the steps to reproduce it:
1) boot the system
2) login with user A
3) choose user B from the user switcher applet
Bang, the error comes out. Note that it happens only the first time
after boot, subsequent switch between users work correctly.

Hi, I've found a test case that makes brasero hang in a repetable way.
It is enough to perform the following steps:

4) select the first
5) holding shift, select the last
