It seems that it was an issue with all the dock type windows that hide
(invisible dock windows) and it got fixed.
This bug was fixed in the package compiz - 1:0.8.4-0ubuntu9

oddvar: I'm happy this worked for you. I did not edited any configuration text
though. I think that you didn't use the ADVANCED CompizConfig Settings Manager.
If you have it installed it must be under System->Preferences->CompizConfig
Settings Manager.Open the software center and write compizconf

Well. I think I found something. As I suggested above, I made some tests with
compiz options. At some point I tried to disable window decoration (without
disabling compiz) but whatever I tried the little square was ticked (is this
another bug?). So, I tried changing the settings regarding window
What Sander Jonkers said, shows that maybe the bug is compiz related. If
we can find more specific which effect is related with this bug, maybe
we can help finding what causes the problem. I suggest deselecting
everything in the CompizConfig Settings Manager and then enabling them
one by one until
It is not a solution. Its almost like saying if you dont use Ubuntu the
problem is gone.
