I just attempted to start banshee after dist-upgrading. It crashes as
soon as it starts without any information as to why or any error
messages provided (it just dies). This happens every time I start the
program.

This crash is still happing with Quantal Quetzal. I'm seeing this crash when I
try to invoke Tools / Bibliography Database. Installing LibreOffice Base fixed
it, just as described here.

I did some test. The printer works well with official Xerox driver:

- Ubuntu 11.04 (i386) - CUPS 1.4.6
- Ubuntu 11.10 (i386) - CUPS 1.5.0
The color bug is present:
- Ubuntu 12.04 (i386) - CUPS 1.5.3
- Ubuntu 12.10b1 (i386) - CUPS 1.6.1

I can't say if I've hit exactly the same bug. I was using Docs not Calc,
and had opened the reference database and then a .odt file. The failure
point is the same though.
