Even worst in 12.10 , I got ftp/sftp timeouts in early phases of transferring a
file . I tried both PCManFM and Nautilus , both of them relies on gvfs to
handle ftp and sftp .
I noticed this timeout while transferring a file from a remote server to local
machine both sftp and ftp protocols, no
@Pere, I presume in fact you /did/ mean 12.10 as there was no 10.12.
Since this bug is only for Unity-2d and there is no Unity-2d then this
bug is not applicable to 12.10. If you are seeing it in the latest
Unity then it is a different bug.

When I copy/move files with nautilus 7 out of 10 times the items are not
copied/moved. The weird part is that the icon being draged does not
spring back to the origin like a normal failed drag would, but just
