this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #2003251, so is being marked as such.
The corruption occurs as soon as "try ubuntu" is clicked and seems to be
caused by the "automatic" color-profile being applied ("Automatic -
C24F390", Samsung monitor C24F390). It can temporarily be fixed by
removing the automatic profile and activating "Colorspace sRGB" profile.
A permanent patch
1) On the firmware errors: they come from the open b43 driver, since the
firmware is not installed. This is something the b43-fwcutter package
can help with, if you want to use that.
2) As for the driver installation issue, I wonder if ubuntu-drivers is
confused, finding both bcmwl-kernel-source

Unfortunate that this can't be fixed with a targetted fix. The good part
is that we anyway do xorg-server MRE's for HWE stack updates for LTSes -
and if Timo feels comfortable enough to sponsor this backport for jammy,
that's already a good clue for me.
