I tested the outputs of hda-jack-sense-test with a device plugged into
the three different side ports, and the following are the outputs, which
show a new pin being present for each port:

accurate. We tried many different fixes and nothing seemed to work. As

Looks like there may be some issue with the patches as I have been able
to create reproducible hangs copying large (750M) files with the patched
GVFS packages. This has been reported upstream. Will update this

To be clear, this issue is present with any bluetooth connected evdev
input (keyboard or mouse) that is not disconnected prior to a suspend
resume cycle.

Had the exact same issue as comment #11 including log spamming and can
confirm that deleting the empty file 'global-messages-db.sqlite-journal'
in my Thunderbird account folder resolved the issue.
This was under Ubuntu 12.04 with Thunderbird 14 and encrypted home
directory.

LOL - This problem has been going on for 8 years Mozilla yet we
are still suffering this problemLooks like we'll be going back to
outlook express :-( I've found no fix for this at all.

Not sure why this was closed --- the behavior still exists. Often, after
launching an application from the Unity launcher, the new window fails
to take the focus. I'm guessing this is related to the window manager's
focus stealing prevention feature (which is at its default setting), but
I too find the term Sticky Edges inapprehensible. Also I wonder why
this option is not greyed out in a single display setup, since it
affects only multi display setups.
May I suggest: Make mouse stick to display edges.
Intuitionally I did expect the Sticky edges switch to control if
windows
