We are heavy users of Arrow; and need support for Decimal64. Currently we
have to use Decimal128, for small decimals. Any update on when ARROW-9404
will be worked on?
Thanks
Stephen
Thanks Wes for the confirmation. Yes, we only intend to keep
extensions that won't get merged back to datafusion core in the
contrib repo. Any code that we intend to go into the core will
definitely still be developed within the ASF GH org.

I only want to have independent patch releases but still keep the main
releases aligned with the other releases.
I want to make sure I have the process right. When we want to make a patch
release, do we still need to call a vote? When we actually want to make a
release, what do we do to bump the
Regarding vcpkg: The 6.0.0 arrow port update PR
(https://github.com/microsoft/vcpkg/pull/21113) is not yet merged
because of a problem with the aws-sdk-cpp vcpkg port on which it
depends. Once that is merged, I will open another PR to update it to
6.0.1.

Dear Arrow Devs,
Could someone set up continuous or nightly arrow releases for the JS
package? I’m happy to help but I don’t understand the CI infrastructure
enough to lead the charge on this. The JIRA is at
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-14508.
Thank you,
Dominik

I have received and accepted the invitation. Thank you very much.
It appears someone else has already uploaded the 0.4.0 python datafusion
binding to PyPi and for that also thank you.
