Since we released 3.0.0 yesterday, I think we need to create a 3.0.x branch, to
eventually backport fixes. We can start from the last commit in 3.0.0 release.
Master will be for 3.1.x
Do we all agree?

Hi Everyone:
The last patch versions were released back in September:
- 2.23.4 was released on 09/22/2019
- 2.24.2 was released on 09/13/2019
2.23.4 was supposed to be the last release for the 2.23.x branch.
Should we plan another release for the 2.24.x branch?
And I guess we should plan a patc
+1

Hi,
I think it makes sense to cut a 2.24.3 as least, maybe mid this month.

+1 for 2.24.3
I think we should plan also a 2.25.0, at least for releasing new stuff on
2.x line.
For 3.0.1, I agree on having it end of year, beginning of new year
Thanks Gregor

Yeah it should be the last 2.x release. Maybe do it January 2020.
One thing we can debate is whether Camel 2.25 should be upgrade

IMHO I'd rather keep 2.25 as it is. Judging from the work being done for
3.0, If it was as simple as changing pom version, I'd say why not, but for
this effort, I'd say I wouldn't go for it. Unless there is a strong demand
of our users, that changes things in my opinion.

+1 for the release of 2.25
Do we maintain the patch release of 2.x for the coming up next year?

Hello,
I can answer to the question 2 and 3, because I still don't know the
planning for Camel in Action 3
For question 2:
We'll release version 2.24.3 as end release for 2.24.x line, we'll then
release a 2.25.0, which will be the last line for Camel 2.x, off course
we're planning to maintain th
Hi guys,
I'm looking forward into working with the new version.
Congratulations and respect for your hard work!
But I do have some questions:
* When will there be a "Camel in Action 3" book from Claus?
* Since the migration is quite a task with all the changes, how long is
there supp

Yeah I would imagine that Camel 2.25.x is supported a bit longer than
usual, so it gives 2.x users a longer period, but new development, new
