Kevin,
Glad you resolve this known issue so fast. I remember that me and Mihai from
the Team had similar problem. I was struggling with this a bit longer - Why
my sdk is not recognized ? :)
Good job!

I made the change. It seems that it was added as a child of my existing pull
request[0]. I am still trying to get to know git, using the online interface
vs the gitHub app. Hopefully I am doing it correctly. Thanks.

Yes. It is a bit trickier than that, which is why I haven’t started on it
yet.

Sure, make a pull request, then you’ll get credit.
I’m trying to fix a bug in JS Panel layout, then I hope to start fixing up
the FlexJS install (including FDB, trying a higher version in
flex-sdk-description.xml, plus other stuff).

Do you want me to edit that and make a pull request? Or is there somebody
with write access who will do it?

Yeah, that’s the first thing I would try. IIRC, there is some issue about
Ant not preserving permissions on copy so you have to do it afterwards.

Does anybody know how the permissions of a file are set, or which file does
the setting, when using the installer? The issue I have is when installing
FlexJS nightly. The mxmlc file in /bin does not have executable
privileges. When using it as an external tool in IntelliJ on mac, I get a

Can anybody commit this, please? This is needed to fix an issue created on
the previous change I made that broke the /js/bin/mxmlc file on mac if env
vars for FLEX_HOME and FALCON_HOME are not set.

Please try it again if you have time. I think it was an issue with a
workaround not working outside en_US.

Hehe ... I think I got your questions now ... sometimes it's good reading twice
;-)
1. Well this is something that the IntelliJ Guys should work on ... I doubt its
anything we can do.
2. The compiler compiles a SWC or JavaScript (These are two different compiler
executions. If you set the compi

Interestingly the MD5 did change, but the Etag or Last-Modified header did
not. Not sure how that happens. And for SWFObject, the MD5 changed but
the contents of the Zip didn’t change.
Weird stuff these days.

OK, not sure what that button does, but I need the workspace not the
artifacts.

waoo, you have been a bit fast for me :-) , I didn't get your answer, there are
few points here:
1- The SDK is not automatically set in IntelliJ
2- The swf is not generated, but we need it too
3- The js-release folder is empty, it supposed to contain the index.html I use

That's a result of the Resource Bundle Chaining of Flexmojos.
Don't wory about that.
Actually I have setup Falcon and ASJS to publish maven artifacts. I am planning
on releasing these the normal Maven way so there is no need to mavenize them.

Kevin,
What geographic area are you in? Can you find the GCL download in the
“in” folder and post it somewhere so I can see if it matches what I get in
the US west coast?

Hector reported the same thing around then. I don’t know if folks are

I noticed few things too using the

I tried with the maven-flex-plugin\examples and the maven extension plugin, it

Would it maybe also be possible to run it in parallel on the other build

That would rule out the issues we sometimes have where it's just

round to the same Player version again.

Hi,
I can't install FlexJS nightly via instaler. Tried several times two/three
