Not all of site is built from the main repo. Jenkins only overwrites the
stuff that is rendered from there.
For example, the version specific docs for older releases all only sits in
hbase-site and has to be manually updated by RMs.

Nope. Our content is built via an automated and documented Jenkins job from
our source, via Maven. Jenkins commits those artifacts to the hbase-site
repo. It is all above board.

Pope "Containerizing Apache HBase Clusters". I think there was some
issue with the recording, we were told that due to past issues
recording Facebook talks, they didn't publish the video this time.
That was a pity.
