For example, is it the testcase that is in error or is it the code that
it's testing?
Maybe this can be discussed in a separate thread since it is not exclusive
to arm64.
Has a thread been started on this already?

While researching mod_remoteip to work on httpd bugs 55635 and 55637,
I noticed a few unrelated blemishes in mod_remoteip.c.
These include some redundant code and comment typos.
The attached patch against httpd trunk should address these.

mod_disk_cache.* in 2.2 is renamed to mod_cache_disk.* in 2.4 and trunk.
By "comment the callback structure" are you asking for documentation on
how these functions are called?

perhaps it is not correct for mod_proxy to be passing uninterpolated URLs

Perhaps the mod_proxy interpolation code should be structured differently.
mod_proxy.c does have a proxy_interpolate function,
but this is only called later through the fixups and translate_name hooks.

Thanks for the info. I assume that ap_rwrite is writing directly to the
client which you mention is bad. What is the preferred method and why is
the ap_rwrite not preferred? Pardon me, I'm a newb.

1st of all: compile apache, apr and apu with -ggdb flag enabled;
enable coredumps in apache config and analyze them with gdb. it always
works.
Kind regards.
