which (I hope) cleans up
the state of `javax.transaction` and `javax.transaction.xa` packages. With
the suggested changes (PR links attached) I run successful tests with
different JTA scenarios, including DBCP2. There's also a new JtaTest I've
added to Karaf.

µservices / custom distro / single start mode. And looking forward Karaf 5
and new feature mechanism, I'd rather turn autoRefresh off in Karaf 5...
