Kohsuke asked on his former blog for automatic updating to Ibiblio (like
codehauses etc) which would be great as new version are coming out each day.
In his new blog he's speaking about maven 2. And also about m1 with
GlassFish.

I've already got a start at a more comprehensive set of documentation for
the assembly plugin on localhost. I'll try to flesh it out today and get it
committed...it shouldn't take more than a day to document a plugin, even one
as complex as the assembly plugin.

That's the idea, generally. But not every daily "new version" would be
pushed, just point releases.
I've already offered to help with their m2-izing on the Glassfish dev
list. They still have some decisions to make -- they aren't yet
positive if they are going to standardize on m2, for example --

Jerome and I have added support for an 'implementation' parameter
to the @parameter tag, so that you can use interfaces as field-types.

I think that after this bunch of releases we'll reach a good state of stability.
I found pretty useful to comment on the jira issues with patches
asking for unit tests and docs, saying that without them it'd take lot
longer to get the patch applied (or it wouldn't be applied at all).
