I am always wondering myself if I have time for open source. Sometimes I
do other times I dont.
I would not mind picking up the torch even if that means hosting on source

I am the creator of the plugin but haven't really touched it since a long
time.
I have at the moment (temporally) 0 time for anything else then daytime work
so I haven't look at your patches.
I would be happy if somebody else will be take over the maintaince of this
plugin or even reimplment
