This is not a bug. "binding" is set when components are created.

Guess I didn't leave adequate time. I took the lack of response in a
days time to be no negative opinion. I can always move them back out
and put them into jsf-comp as I know people will make use of them. Let
me know of any procedures that are in place for any new component
ideas.

IMO, removing duplicates would be an excellent improvement.
And I agree it shouldn't have been a List - though I'd probably

Indeed, this is an issue (Ajax4JSF incompatibilities with
Trinidad) that is present in 1.0.2, 1.0.2, and 1.2.1. It shouldn't
block 1.2.2.
